Costa Mesa, Calif. – July 13, 2022  – The Marine Division of Mission Critical Electronics (MCE) has added a new product manager, Jason Hall and a new mechanical engineer, Barry Bauer, to work with its marine brands of ASEA Power Systems, Newmar, and Xantrex. Hall and Bauer became the newest employees in July 2022.

Having worked in the financial industry for over 14 years (seven as a regional sales manager and seven as a product manager), Jason is thrilled to bring his sales and product management experience to MCE.  “I’m excited to learn about the marine industry and the interconnected systems of marine vessels.  There are some major changes coming to how people enjoy their boating experience and I look forward to working with the team to develop products and systems that allow for that market technology to accelerate and be adopted.”

Our other addition to the marine division, Barry has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University and an Associate of Science in Marine Diving Technology from Santa Barbara College, California.

Barry brings 29 years of engineering experience with proven analytical and technical skills. Barry has been instrumental in providing innovative solutions to complex issues at all stages of development from proposal through to final production.

“I am looking forward to applying these skills in the design and manufacturing of all the Marine Division products of Mission Critical Electronics with my new team members,” Barry said about his new venture.

Barry was the lead design engineer on control units for the NASA Mars Rover, Perseverance articulating arm and drill carousel that touched down last year, at Ducommun Inc., Motion Control Devices (MCD) Division in Carson, CA.

MCE is pleased to welcome Jason Hall and Barry Bauer to the team.
